FAQs

Why are we using Eventbrite?
This online service offers us the simplest way to organize attendance, ensuring all have a chance to attend at some point during the month. Also, it helps us with the required contact tracing should someone become ill. You do not have to create an Eventbrite account to register for a service. If you would not like to use Eventbrite, contact us and we will register on your behalf.

What if I don’t want to use hand sanitizer?
Immediately upon entering the church, go directly to the bathrooms and wash your hands for a full 20 seconds.

Can we catch a virus from Holy Communion? What if I don’t want to take communion right now?
You can always contact Father Jerry directly with any questions or concerns.

I am coughing but I don't feel sick. Can I still come to a service?
If you are exhibiting any symptoms of illness, please stay home.

Will Holy Resurrection Live-stream their services?
St. George, Eugene, has recently upgraded their streaming set up, so we encourage you to watch their services!  Find them HERE.

Is the Bookstore open?
Currently the bookstore will be closed. However, if you need something from the bookstore you may ask an usher and they can accommodate you.

Why do we have to follow these guidelines?
As a Hierarchical Church, we follow the instructions of our Bishop. The Metropolis has worked hard to navigate these difficult times and regulations, and have directed us how to act.  Remembering that all things are for our salvation; utilize this as an opportunity to work out your ‘obedience’ and ‘humility’ muscles!  Also, feel free process this directly with Father Jerry.

How can I see the Metropolis Guidelines?
You can view them on the Metropolis website, HERE.
